Nite in Manila

For four consecutive years, I had the pleasure of designing and creating Kapwa's Nite in Manila event programs. The projects relied heavily on designing program publications from cover to page layout but also included overall concept design for promotional marketing materials based on the given theme. Work also included photo editing, logo design, illustration, and file preparation for print.
Kapwa is a student organization at Loyola University—Chicago that strives to enrich the Filipino culture and tradition, to promote awareness, and to educate the Filipino Americans around the Midwest. To achieve this mission, Kapwa turns to taking part in conferences, participating in community service, and by holding events such as Nite in Manila.
Nite in Manila is Kapwa’s annual variety show that showcases Filipino talent from around the Illinois area.
